snow in North Louisiana

Nice little snow this morning. Picture of my house and barn. Now if the deer would just show up it would be perfect.  "

Be glad to send you some cold air to go along with that snow. It lasts longer that way.

Thanks Ron but it is miserable enough without it being any colder. Warmed up and turned to mush. To nasty to go out and shoot the bow. I don't see how you guys up north keep from going stir crazy.

I for one AM stir crazy-and we only got 4 to 6" of the white stuff!!!!!  Snow doesn't slow a judo point down very much-got tired of digging in the snow for my arrows!!

If you didn't get much, I can send you some of mine and I'm sure there are a few people on the east coast that can spare some as well.

Want be long that we will be complaining here about the heat and humidity. And all of that grass to mow. Just had 7 deer at the feeder in the back yard. Just a few the neighbors left for seed I guess.

You could correctly guess there are some arrows buried behind that target.

With snow like this, the hunting is tough, and even tougher with the hunt for arrows.

We get so much wind up here on the mountain, It's hard to tell how much snow we've actually got. A couple feet in places and drifts up over your butt in others. It's been colder than the north side of a snowbank here for a month, but they're predicting 30's, to possibly 40* this coming week. I don't remember the last 40* day we had here. Another month and we've got it licked in this part of the US. I've been babying my rotator cuffs anyway, so not being able to shoot because of the weather hasn't bothered me as much as it would otherwise. Two months til turkey season here.

Ken I would not want to shoot in that. I have a 20 yard shot in my heated barn if it gets bad enough but rather be outside. Went out and shot a little today. Only snow left is in the shadows of the woods. Still windy and cold but nothing like you guys have to deal with.
