So what do you stand hunters wear while on stand? Camo or neutral colors?

Camo. Specifically, Predator camo. It does make a difference in how quickly the deer accept me as something they don't have to worry about, that is if they see me at all. Most of the time they don't even see me.

Asbell wool, Evening Stand Green or Evening Stand Brown. Brown camo wool pants. OR Kuiu Vias camo depending on weather situation. Under Armour & Merino Wool layering underneath as needed...

Depends on how much cover I have. I've worn camo, plads, and solid usually grey in solid. If I keep movement down they all work well. I like light and dark combo in plad. I think it does a good job at breaking me up. Started out with plad went to camo for many years with all the hipe in camo designs and materials and seem to be returning back to plad. With foliage still on the trees I really dont feel it matters much. when the leaves fall, late season I really like something like Timber Ghost. I think it is doing a better job at keeping me from being sky lighted. They all work fine but you may need to expeiment a little to find what you have confidence with in your area.

Normally wool plaid shirts with solid colored First Lite Kenab pants and camo wool vest. I wear camo wool when the temps get real cold. Had deer look up in the treestand and continue feeding.

Both, or a blend, as the situation ( and my fashion sense) dictates.  You know how important it is for me to be "styling in da woods.

I think its already been said but I don't think one type or version of clothing work for stand hunting. I believe it best to dress for the occasion or situation. I do like my Asbell pullover for the go to attire. Evening Stand Brown. It seems to blend from early Nov. to Late season for me here in the Midwest.

Ask long as your tree is big enough or has enough background branches to keep you from being silhouetted your normal preferred attire will work fine. My early season stuff consist of plaids and cold season consist of outfitter camo from cabelas   :dunno:   and I've been successful with both.

It depends a lot on what I am hunting.  If on my own land or around the area, I do wear a lot of plaids, with some mismatched camo pants etc.  quite a bit of cotton.

Elk hunting is a different matter entirely.  I bought some lightweight, comfortable ( interpret that as expensive) camo because I need every break I can get when backpacking or hunting in the Mtns.  My cotton paints get heavy especially when wet!

I do a mix of just about everything. Plaids, many different camo patterns and solids. I hunt a variety of places and have had success with all of it.

Camo for me.

I prefer kuiu vias early until late season, then switch to my old Browning wool "full curl" stuff when it get down around freezing.

Both. I use a lot of camo, some of it in commercial patterns. But mostly I use the old style military Eastern Woodland pattern. I find it to be just as effective as the latest and greatest stuff in the catalogs. In the last couple of years I have used a lot of wool plaid from Asbell. It all works if you be still and hunt the wind. I have known guys who generally use neutral colors with no consideration for plaid or camo and do just fine.

I like the Predator patterns for ground or stand. Going to try some wool when it gets cool mixed with my Predator.

Thanks for all the replies! I have some lightweight camo for the early season while it's still warm. Wool for the late season when it's colder. My wools are bowns so, should blend pretty well. Thanks again for all the useful help and tips.

Whatever will keep me warm, usually Asbell wool pullover and surplus wool pants.

Whatever is on the hanger.  Any pattern, any color EXCEPT BLUE!!!  You are remarkably invisible to most wildlife until they catch you moving.
