I am shooting a #40 Omega Imperial this year. Arras are CE Heritage 150s @30in, real sharp zwickey no mercy's adding up to be 175gr up front. Arras fly like darts and slide through them like hot butter. I wouldn't hesitate on anything in the lower 48 other than an elk or moose.

32" Gold Tip XT Hunter 55/75 black shaft, 100gr brass insert, 150gr German Kinetic broadhead, 3-4" Parabolic feathers. 530gr total arrow weight with 22%FOC.

Bow is a Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow, 50#@29.5"

Like huskyarcher, I would not be scared to use this setup for anything in NA, including the elk and moose!

Going on my first hog hunt in April.  I'll be using full length gold tip 7595 blems with 300 grain vpa 2 blade broad heads up front. I'll be shooting my Sasquatch SS 57 lbs at 27 1/2, hopefully i get  a shot at big one to see what kind of penetration i can get.

For now, I'd shoot the same arrow that I shoot out of my Super D:

29" GT 35/55 blem from Big Jim
50 grain brass insert
145 grain Eclipse BH with aluminum insert
3 - 4" parabolic feathers.

If I remember right it weighs in right at 500 grains and I think the FOC is right at 16%

I will be coming up with a heavier arrow for my Mag to hunt hogs though.  I'd like to end up with a woodie about 600-625 grains
62" Super D, 47#s @ 25-1/2"
58" TS Mag, 53#s @ 26"
56" Bighorn, 46#s @ 26.5"

Same arrow I use for everything.
27 inch goldtip with custom double brass insert 200 grain) 2 blade wide magnus head on steel 100 grain adaptor. 3 4" high back feathers.
Total arrow weight 705 grains with 31% efoc.

Shot from a 57#@26" northern mist baraga longbow.

The arrows fly great hit hard and are very forgiving and stable.

What I like best is they go so slow that if I make a bad shot I can usually run and catch the arrow before it gets to the target!

Second that brother. But at the same time a lot of these fellas say I wish I needed an elk arrow.... I do envy you guys who can hunt year round hogs and deer. I sometimes wish I could just visit colorado a week or 2 a year to chase them and have the others for months at a time.

580 gr Surewood Fir and 200 gr Grizzly Kodiaks.  I also have some Grizzly Instincts and VPA 200 gr 3 blades mounted.  These are my deer arrows, too.

This is probably on the ridiculous side, but here is my setup for my 85# Northern Mist:
- Black Eagle Outlaw shaft from Simply Traditional in 300 spine.
- 300 grain Tuffhead from Vintage Archery.
- Custom one piece stainless steel adapter at 235 grains from a non-sponsor.
- 2 inches of footing.
- Every component secured with liberal JB Weld.
- 870 total grains at 37% FOC.

This is the arrow I zipped through my last pig in December:

Then I have this setup for my 64# Shrew:
- Black Eagle Outlaw 350 spine
- 125 grain one piece adapter from Ace (filled with JB Weld)
- Half the quiver is 200 grain Ace Super Express, other half is 200 grain new Grizzlys.
- more footing and JB weld.
- 660 total grains at 26% FOC.

Everything on the second arrow I got from Steve at Simply Traditional as he deals in all those brands. He's the one that got me hooked on these Outlaws, at $70 per full dozen they are better than some shafts that cost about double that.
