Does Schnee's ever discount there boots or offer free shipping. Looking at giving them a try.

Shinken

If you travel to Bozeman, they occasionally have in-store specials on returned items - including boots.

Their catalog will reflect sales items, but that typically comes at the end of each "season" and their flagship boots are usually not on sale.

I've never seen an offer for free shipping.

If you are familiar with the history of Schnee's, their target customer has changed a bit from when they first started out....

Schnee's boots  are top flight - between them and Bean boots - I have owned several pairs of each.

Their customer service may be matched by others but never beaten.  You should also call them and ask to be put on their mailing list, they will then advise you of all sales events.

Thanks for the info.  I have always used LL Bean but figured I would give Schnee's a try.  But it is hard to pull the plug when they are $75.00 more for the same boot.   Bean also is not charging shipping.

not really the same boot.. the schnee leather is so much thicker and overall the boot seems to be just better made,  Bean boots are a quality item but just not as heavy built as a schnee

I have both. The Schnees are a cut above the Bean boot in material quality. Worth the money in my mind.
Both great boots, though.

Just getting ready to send back a pair of Bean Boots to get resoled x3, might have to look at Schnees.

Just checked and no free shipping that I could see.  Have to keep my eyes open for that.  They wanted $20.00 SH.

Got free shipping last fall on Stone Glacier pack.

Schnees do not have a wider size if you need them.
LL Bean does.  Schnee are nice but it bothers me that they don't cover a wider sole.

Trust me they are not the same boot as Beans, they are much better and last longer.
