Yes but a lot of the shoots around here are set up for the wheelie's. A few are all trad.

Nope, our archery club has an outdoor 3D shoot every Sunday during the winter months, plus I help run an indoor 3D league every other Saturday night from January through March. Also, a few others clubs in our area have indoor 3D shoots.

I shot our annual 3D shoot last weekend.  I almost didn't shoot because the temperature had dipped down into the 40's in the morning and I was afraid I would have to wear a jacket, but then I remembered that the shoot didn't start until 9 and by then the sun would be out and I could still shoot in my tee shirt. A couple of weekends before that I shot another 3D shoot at another club, and it was a little colder, but I still got by in my sweat shirt.  I feel sorry for you guys, but you have to understand that we California shooters have it rough too!

If someone were to go back to read my past posts they'd see that there are none about 3D shoots. While I do enjoy the shoots there is a reason why I don't write about them.
I'll let you read between the lines on that and draw your own conclusion.

I miss the Wes Wallace Mentor I traded a while back. Seems like we trad guys always lament that one bow we wish we had back.

Not bad, Roy.  Now you just need to work on tightening up those groups a little!   :saywhat:

Wow Roy, you must really punch holes in those targets.   :notworthy:   What part of Pa.?

my very first 3D shoot I lost 9 out of 12 brandnew 1916's made for me by Paul Brunner @ Screaming Eagle.....  I called him that week and said I wasn't sure if those arrows shot good because I lost 9 and Paul said " Yeah Ted I really don't think it was the arrows"

nowadays if I miss it just means I get a a few more sneak shots providing I make sure I get there late enough where nobody is behind me,,, then it gets fun!

Looks like that fire extinguisher has seen some shots not quite as good as the ones in the target. LOL

Our winter shoot was canceled due to weather.  It was going to be tough to set up and move around the course.  I think snowshoes would have been needed and any arrows not in the target would have required a trip back in a month or so to look for. At least they would have been laying on top of the ground.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Have shot three already this year. Inclement weather has prompted cancellations of three more that I had planned to participate in.
