Hunting with a classic Bear on Fred's Birthday
« on: March 06, 2015, 03:53:00 AM »
My little brother bought me a mid 70's K mag in great shape for my birthday last august. I had a string made special for it so it is all matchy matchy,  I shoot it a lot around the targets but have never taken it hunting.

I figured why the hell not?! Its Fred's Birthday after all!

Here are some pics from the hunt.

The spot (sorry for the photo quality)

I let one go. Found it though. Somethin spilled by it.

Clean pass through. 18 yards got both lungs. Tracking was easy. She went all of 20 Yards.
Found me nice Nanny. Second bow kill ever!  Super Stoked!

Forgive the poor angle. Camera on a timer in the dirt.

I want to give a big MAHALO for the Mana in the old Bear K-Mag, to my brother who is a fantastic gift giver, and to the Goat for feeding my Family!

Aloha.

Aloha!

Don't apologize for the camera angle on the hero pic. Nice picture and interesting angle.

Congrats on the goat and beautiful country.
