It was pretty.......Now a reveiw
« on: March 07, 2015, 02:55:00 PM »
I took a ride over to Ocala today to the TBOF spring shoot. Checked out the venders and ran into  Mike Treadway. So we got talking about bows and family issues with our parents health and just things in general. In the process I saw a Osage riser on the rack he had out for display.....I'm a sucker for Osage. All Osage with cedar lams, Caribou horn tips, 66" 42# @ 28". So to make a long story short, I strapped in on the bike and came home with it. My wife just rolled her eyes when I got back                  :saywhat:      Picture coming,,,,,

This will look great! I'm a sucker for Osage also. It is my favorite bow wood. Congrats on the new stick Ron!

I've found if you say "well I enjoy it so much, not for hunt or spending time with the guys, it's because  every time I return home I get butterflies in my stomach when I see you" you get a smile back.    :goldtooth:

I'd love to shoot one of Mike's l-o-n-g longbows. I have one of his D/R 60" and it's a sweetheart.

This is Mike's "Treadway Traditional" It's called "Back to basics" and it strings up to a "D" shape. Thanks for doing the PIC Charlie    :notworthy:

Sweet looking bow Ron !!! Really like the looks of that Osage. Like all of Mike Treadway's bows, his "Traditional" is a real shooter.
