New from California
« on: March 08, 2015, 02:12:00 PM »
Hello Everyone, my name is David.  I just recently got started in Trad Archery.  I made a selfbow from Red Oak and bought my 10 year old daughter a youth compound bow.  We have been shooting for a couple weeks now and went to our first 3D tournament yesterday.  I was referred to this site by a fellow archer at the tournament.

Here is a video from one of the targets yesterday.

I am now addicted to making bows and plan on making many more and experimenting with techniques.

Archery is the first thing I have found that keeps her interest.  And as you can see from her grouping on the blue arrows, she is a natural.

No I just mean getting notification of new comments on posts.  If I don't go to every post I have commented on or made and look, I have no idea if anyone else has posted.

Nice shooting too, by the way, and I'm glad to see that your daughter is shooting too.

Haha, this is the wild west! Rolling foothills don't have many trees.
