Hello Everyone, my name is David. I just recently got started in Trad Archery. I made a selfbow from Red Oak and bought my 10 year old daughter a youth compound bow. We have been shooting for a couple weeks now and went to our first 3D tournament yesterday. I was referred to this site by a fellow archer at the tournament.

Here is a video from one of the targets yesterday.

I am now addicted to making bows and plan on making many more and experimenting with techniques.

Archery is the first thing I have found that keeps her interest. And as you can see from her grouping on the blue arrows, she is a natural.

You're gonna love it here.

I had the same question regarding notifications to my posts. When you start a thread, or reply to one, choose full reply form. Scroll down and you'll see an email notification option. Just check the box.

Nice shooting too, by the way, and I'm glad to see that your daughter is shooting too.

Haha, this is the wild west! Rolling foothills don't have many trees.
