Does anybody know a good taxidermist that could do a nice floor mount for me ?
This is a personal best for me .

I would be afraid that if I took a shot at that thing I'd never find my arrow again.

May have to boil it for a bit to make it tender, keep it away from the flame on the grill.   :biglaugh:

That's quite a stump but what is that brown stuff all around. It's going to be quite a while before I see any of that around here. :-)

What a beautiful stump! Looks like a pinball machine for an arrow though… I'd pass on that shot!

Nice gaggle of stumps. Did any strut around for you? My experience this morning was a little different. I buried an arrow into the root ball of catus plant. I paid the price, bleed like crazy when I pulled it out and fell into plant. Took my friend awhile to pull all the needles.

Actually this is one of the more attractive stumps on our property . We have a stump fence on two of our property lines and I was taking some pictures of the fence line .
Sorry I just couldn't help myself , this one is one of the neatest ones . I have no idea how old they are but they are just beautiful .

The vitals can be a tricky shot on those North American Switch Monsters and they can get REAL cranky with a bad hit, typically breaking the arrow and charging head on... way to thread the needle on that one!!!
