I have shot the green and black bow over a chronograph at 52@30 and I draw 29" with a 600 gr.GT arrow and got 163 - 165 with finger release. And I have tested a whole bunch of recurves about the same weight or heavier that were not as fast or very close with the same arrow. Stable and accurate also.

I just received my new bow from Cory, and shot it for the last couple of hours.  This is a top notch all around bow.

Throws a heavy arrow on a very good trajectory,
Very smooth to draw,
My fletching makes more noise than the bow,
Absolutely dead in the hand,
Great pointing bow, hits were you look,
Forgiving of my minor form flaws
Forgiving on arrow spine.

It is the best bang for my bow buying buck that I have spent!
I can go on and on...

Check one out if you get a chance.

But YES! This bow is a Freak,  and I mean that in the best possible sense of the word.

Kevin,

I agree, these are great bows. Cory has been flying under the radar, but that might change when he gets his website up.

Cory is building me a takedown longbow.  I'll post pictures after I receive it.

Rob,

The secret is out, I took my bow down to RMSG today. The feed back was outstanding. I think Tom might be looking for one in the very near future.

I can't wait to see what your new bow looks like.

Kevin,  Tom at Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear has probably shot thousands of bows.  If he is impressed with Cory's bows, that is saying something.

Shot one of Cory's bows this week and was very impressed.  Heck of a nice guy and knowledgeable about bow building.

@Moots: Fighting my fight as usual. Nothing news. Therefore my new bow will get the name:"Ahiga" .
At the moment my form is astonishing.... Good that is   :)  I wasn't able to shoot for halve a year, but the results are  like I've been training like a pro... Would there be some justice in this world after all????

Ad,

You are one of the most positive people I know!  I admire you.

If you ever get a chance, try one of Cory's Heartland longbows.  They compare very favorably, I believe, to the Peregrine.

Caleb,  How long did it take to talk Cory into letting you shoot his bow with the handle of "bow breaker"?

Rob,

Nice to have contact with you again! Its like meeting family! Being positive is an important virtue      :)
As for bows: too many bows, too less money! I have a 3pce Timberghost longbow on order...Belly will be of the prettiest crazy myrtle veneers you have ever seen from Curt from The Wood Vault. I picked them myself and had them shipped too Kent. Back will be carbon as per advice of Kent. An I-Beam riser with myrtle to match the belly. Inserts in riser for mounting a Thunderhorn small Fry bold on bowquiver.  I will ask the good folks from Thunderhorn to match colors..

Life is good!

I test drove that bow last summer. Hubi has one.. On 28 challenging targets I shot my best 3D round ever and that with a bow you are shooting for the first time!
I have to wait till august....

Hubert and me sure let the good times roll that day.... We both shot that lion straight in the kill with our first arrow at 50 yards... Who could ask for more??? I shot that round with Hubi's Timberghost...
It became very very late that night. Hubert stayed at my place, we had a great dinner together with my wife and set a new record for drinking wine that night.. It was sheer madness, celebrating life and friendship!

Rob, very nice bows!! Looks like great performing bows. I really like the forward riser!!!!
I see some day one of these bows in my hands     :)

Sorry don't wanna hijack this thread, but
@Ad my brother, this weekend was a blast. And you shoot great with the Timberghost.

I will never forget the delicious dinner you have cooked, the great wine ( maybe a bootle to much LOL) and the hospitality of you and Joke.
Looking forward to see you and Joke this year at my home.
