Question about crack in fiberglass
« on: March 29, 2015, 08:05:00 PM »
I have a bow with a small crack in fiberglass on the lower limb at the tip . Only like 1/2 inch long and is in the clear glass and is i belly side. Can't feel it on the surface . Is this anything to worry about ?

If you cannot feel it and it is lengthwise to the limb then its probably not a real crack but a streak in the glass . If you can feel it put some thin professional strength Loctite on it and just keep an eye on it.
From what you have written it does not sound like anything but a small cosmetic thing.

God bless, Steve

Thanks ! I hope it's nothing to worry about ! It is a fedora xccellrator! It has a few white streaks and white hazying a little under the glass ! The bow shoots really good ! Hate for something to happen to it !
