What did the "White Elephant" leave at your place?
« on: March 29, 2015, 08:49:00 PM »
Thanks for all who are participating.

My package will go out tomorrow but I am sure the "Ole Girl" had made it to some of you folks.

Here's the thread you can show off what you got and say you "Thank yous"/

God bless,Mudd

PS: I was treated to a special surprise from my friend "Macatawa". He and his son drove in from Michigan for the week end and we've had a blast but there will be a separate thread detailing the fun we had and my getting to meet Byron Ferguson.

Alright Mudd, here's what was waiting for me at the post office this morning. Mark "Mangonboat" you hit a home run with this one! Only problem is I wonder if your stalking me knowing exactly what to send. I'm pretty sure Wyatt will be down for Easter weekend and he is going to be one exited little boy! I'll have to keep him from shooting eggs around the yard. And to top it off the bow is the same age I am! I will put up more pictures of Wyatt and his new bow when I give it to him and just like the youthbow giveaway I will pass it on when he outgrows it. Thank You Mark, you couldn't have sent anything better. Dave

Most fun I've ever had packing up a bow. I had a hunch you two would be woods-roving buddies.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Today from Steve Jr. a box full of stuff, a couple of videos, a hole bunch of broadheads, a book about Robin Hood that my grandson will love. Then the rubber finger things [no glove] that will be perfect for my grandsons longbow. Wool insoles from 2 Tracks and a couple of other neat books. Also some nocks and 2 rubber blunts.        A SUPER WHITE ELEPHANT........     :notworthy:      :notworthy:

It is my first time participating in the white elephant and definitely won't be my last. It puts a smile on my face to know you liked it Ron. It was fun just packing it up.

Big Thanks to Mudd for starting this

Thank you Nathan for a thoughtful gift...

Two gloves in excellent condition.  The wife is getting her first bow soon and has laid claim to the "first rights to refusal on them" as she tests to see what she prefers.  Also 6x 250gr Tusker Concorde broadheads that will be perfect for some pig sticking arrows.  I typically shoot 250gr up front already, although all my arrows are right winged.  I'll have to make up a set of left winged arrows and just keep them loaded with these left beveled Tuskers for pigs; golly I hate having reasons to get more arrows   :jumper:

I just sent the pachyderm from northern to southern MI to deliver something to Bogeyrider63.  Hopefully someone can send her to a warmer climate after that because she seemed a little annoyed at the snow up here.

I feel like a bit of a cheapskate.  I hope that the gloves and Tuskers are useful.

I got a couple of dozen parabolic feathers, a bag of flu-flu feathers, several dozen fishing jigs and a new flashlight!!!

I really enjoyed this.
