Lil' Creep Has Arrived (with pictures)
« on: April 03, 2015, 11:04:00 PM »
I've finally thinned my bow collection down to the *essentials (Yellowstone Half-Breed, 60" 56@28, Gary Sentman Icon, 66" 50@28, and BW SAG, 58" 49@28) I've made room for what I've really been looking for for a while; A Great Northern Lil' Creep.  There was one in stock with the specs I really like, 1 piece bow with a straight grip, brown glass with shedua riser.  It's supposed to be here Monday, and I can't hardly wait.  I called GN a couple of times, and I asked a bunch of questions, but both Sharon and Jerry were more than helpful.  I'm happy to buy bow from such nice people.

I got my lil' creep in the mail today.  I didn't waste any time before a put a few arrows threw it, and a few questions were raised.  How can a bow this short be so stable?  How can a bow this light have so little hand shock?  Why isn't it stacking? I though short longbows had to be highly reflexed deflexed.  I couldn't have been more wrong. This bow is great, just like all the reviews claim; quick, quite, stable and smooth.  Unlike other nice bows I've shot, when the new wears off I really doubt I'll change my mind.  I'll give it a few weeks but there might be a nice BW recurve on the classifieds.

I've wondered the same thing. How can people claim a mild r/d bow of that length is smooth and stable?
Having owned other GNs, I have to assume, that if anyone could do it, Jerry could;-)
