I shot these bows ~50# @ 25
Inferno is 54in marked 61# @ 28
Eros is 54in marked 60# @ 28
Both braced 6.5 inches
While shooting I had 4 catwhiskers on the Inferno and 2 two tracks scallops on the Eros. I was shooting a bare shaft Gold Tip Traditional 1535 with 225gr tip weight.
To tune out the bareshafts the Eros shot a 3 inch shorter shaft than the Inferno.
I then shot them with their respective bareshafts one after the other several times. My conclusions:
Both bows while strung were very close to the same length.
Both bows shot with the same quietness that I can tell while shooting.
Both bows had the same feel at the shot.
Both bows shot close to the same point of impact up to 20 yards, then the Inferno started slowly dropping after that compared to the Eros.
The Inferno has a smoother draw cycle.
The Eros looked to shoot faster but I didn't chrono for specifics.
These are just my opinions. Nothing done scientific, just feel and observation. Thought it may help someone choose if they are on the fence about which one they would rather. Both excellent bows. Love them both. Gregg Coffee done an excellent job on them.
