Feedback on Saunders hot melt?

I've had great results with Kimsha hot melt (and not so good with Ferr-l-tite). I need to replenish my arrow building supplies, and try to do it in one order to keep shipping cost down. Well for this round, the sponsor that fits the bill best has everything except for the Kimsha, but carries the Saunders.
Anyone using this stuff on stumping points, shooting in sub-zero to 90F temps?

I have used and like Saunders hot melt,it is stronger and more pliable.Bohning Ferr-l-lite I find is too brittle and does up as well in cold weather.Another thing I would do with my glue-on points was to take a 1/16-27 NPT pipe tap and tap some threads inside the point.This would give my points some teeth to hold better.

I have used Ferr l tite and my wife's hot glue sticks.  I agree with JRY that anything you can do to rough up the inside of your BH's definitely helps.

Thanks for the input so far. I do prep my points regardless of the glue I use, but find that given the same prep, Some work better than others. Sounds like the Saunders has similar qualities to the Kimsha type, which has been good - more pliable, less brittle than Ferr-l-tite.

I don't have any experience with the Saunders, but have had good luck thus far with the Bohning blue hot melt. It is much more flexible than standard Ferr-l-tite.

I don't know which sponsor you are looking at, but if it is Big Jims, go with the Quick Stick hot melt (I think 3Rivers sell it now also). Quick Stick from Big Jims is the best hot melt I have found. I have fought losing inserts in targets ever since I started shooting carbon arrows...............until I found the Quick Stick. I have been using the Quick Stick for a couple years now and have not lost a single insert, not one!

Are they buying stock amber or having someone formulate their own blend? I am using the Stanley amber, it needs a bit more heat, but it does hold my points on tight.

Thanks Bisch, but I have not sold any of my hot melt to any of the other dealers as of yet...but that is because they haven't asked.

Bisch, I think the Quick Stick is the same stuff as the Kimsha. But I'm looking at RMSG, since they have a couple items I need that Big Jim's doesn't carry.

You know, when I first started selling it, I didn't "market" it and it took on the name of another "hot melt" glue out there. I mistakenly never changed it.
I also was looking for a glue that would do as good of a job as possible on carbon. Over time, I started getting feed back from customers as to how well it was working on wood and aluminum.

Apparently, it is good stuff all the way around, but it is different than others.
I can't say what makes it better as I just don't know. But I can say is that they aren't all created equal. Some of the samples the manufacturer sent me (they were informed at what I was wanting it to do) failed badly and others were just ok.

We have it in two forms. The "slug" and the "stick". It is the same glue, but different quantity. I purchased the stick to go with this high dollar glue gun hoping it would simplify insert installation at events ...or at the shop when we get swamped with shaft sales...anybody want to buy a high dollar glue gun  
The stuff just cools too quick for the gun to work.
