Archery Golf, some action pictures included.
« on: April 20, 2015, 11:18:00 AM »

The Target...
Every April a few of us get together for a weekend of fun, camping, and archery golf.
The course is laid out with 14 holes, (pucks), with the object to knock me over or "stick" em in as few as shots as possible. The distances to achieve this can require anywhere from 2-6 shots.

Letting loose!

A shot at the puck...

A hit!

A few more...
Coupled with both skill and strategy, archery golf also provides the awe inspiring moments of watching an arrow in flight.
Thanks,
Tim

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Looks like the course out by Eagle Mountain.  That's a lot of fun, as long as you don't get too much cheat grass in your socks.

Our group just had our 21st annual trad golf shoot here in SW PA. We set up on reclaimed coal strip mines with stuffed animals for targets. We typically get 2-3 dozen golfers and stick together as a group around the course. The Afterburn party is as much fun as the shoot. It's a great time.

Archery golf is definitely a lot of fun. Will be going with a group from our archery club in southern Wisconsin to Mt Morris, Wisconsin the first weekend in May. Try it, you'll like it!
