If I couldn't push the BH in more then I would use some foam from an old target and build out my quiver so my BH would be covered. You don't need to cut yourself and ruin you hunting.

And as long as they are covered they don't look too fat :-)

That hood looks to shallow for you broadheads period. Do you have a big chunk of foam in there?

That looks a bit like me trying to fit into last year's pants.

Seriously, I don't like that sharp corner sticking out either. If there's a way for me to do something stupid, I will find it.

I just bought one of those and got the long size hood for the big Tree Sharks. I only carry 3 arrows and it covers the Tree Sharks completely.

I won't carry a bow with the broadheads sticking past the hood. Sooner or later I will cut myself on one with a misplaced hand.

It looks like you have a lot of hood left, could you stick them in any further?

I don't know about it making your quiver look fat, but if it were mine, it would make my hand look bloody!

AD Hammerheads with brass inserts? Only one BH looks fat. That's a full quiver, but a pretty good variety of heads.

Great heads and a great quiver! Where there is a will there is a way. You can get them to work, you already have some good suggestions. But be careful those blades are wicked.

The one tree shark is there for turkeys only.  Been using ABowyer heads in that quiver for 3 years no cut fingers and that is as far in as they can go.  You guys would really freak out with the old quivers with no hood at all.

I had a friend back in the early 70's that freaked out with one of those old bow quivers with no hood. He almost bled to death when one of the broadheads cut the main artery in his upper arm.

He was stringing his recurve with the push pull method and the tip slipped out of his hand.

Nurse said just a few minutes later getting to the emergency room and he would have bled to death.

That's an old kwikee isn't it? Aren't they supposed to have a plastic hood?

my fathers favorite right there,,  but I have sliced my fingers on grizzlys sticking out of the hood like that.

don't forget though even a simple back quiver can be the most dangerous if you tumble forward and now those broadhead tipped arrows have slid out and now are pointing into your face, eyes and neck just in time for the next tumble,, like falling down hill.

The old ones didn't you just learned how to tote them. Many rabbit hunts as a kid with one of them.

It's not the quiver that makes your broadhead look fat.    :D

Here is a pic of my fix to a GN quiver.  It will carry a Grizzly Kodiak or a Tuffhead without the blades hanging out.

Yes the orginal one.  I have an original in an unopened package.  Talk about blade exposure...
