ICS Hunter vs. Axis

I have been shooting Beman ICS Hunter 400 shafts and have not been able to find them at my ussual suppliers. I also noticed that they are out of stock at Cabelas and heard rumers that they have been dicontinued.  Therefore I am looking at Axis shafts and am wondering if an Axis 400 will tune closely to the ICS hunter 400 on the same bow.  IF anyone has any experience with both these shafts, I would like to here your results.

fsdiscountarchery.com has the ics hunters for sale.yup 60 bucks, if u want the slimer shafts, they also have  the new easton st excel for 50 bucks , i  have the st epics and they fly great!!! the new excels shouldnt be any different.

Try the new Beman MFX's.  A tad heavier than the Axis.

Beman and Easton shafts are measured at true deflection so a .400 is the same no matter which shaft you use. The difference in diameter may make the axis a little stiffer but should be easy to tune for.

I have eight that are to weak for my bows, cut at 28 1/2", I would sell.  If interested send me a PM.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I don't think they are discontinued, Beman still list them on their website, and Cabelas and Basspro still list them as available and in stock on their websites.
