I really like Osage, I think mainly for tradition and the character it gets as it ages. Building myself an osage 2 pc. Smoke at the moment. Mine has an osage riser, osage belly veneers and carbon back with some Bocote overlays. I'll post some pics when I get it finished.

Here's one I built for the bow swap last year. Lacewood, Purple Heart, Osage, with white glass accents.
 
 
 
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

One I made a few years back out of osage for the laminations and riser.  I added ash into the riser for contrast but wanted a bow that was as bomb proof as possible, thus Bois de 'arc wood was chosen.

 

 

It has darkened some since these pictures were taken.
