Going on a bear hunt
« on: April 29, 2015, 10:25:00 PM »
Well it's been a heck of a couple weeks, my buddy invited me bear hunting up north but i've been etruggling to get time off from work.  Yesterday the boss said, "Tracy you go on that hunt."  This morning my wife booked me a flight to Grand Prairie and ive got to leave Friday morning, that doesn't leave much time to get everything ready and I'm exhausted from work....but I ain't complaining!  Hopefully I'll have some interesting photos to share and a story or two to tell.  Here's hoping the timing is right because if it is there's gonna be a lot of bears to see   :)

Was gonna say! I don't think you have to hunt for BEER in Canada. I had a Black Lable when I was there. Cause that was the name of the stand I hunted from and killed my bear!
Either way have a great time!!

Tonight I attended a Montana Bowhunters Association meeting at Angry Hank's Brewery here in Billings. Let me assure you that we had a very successful beer hunt.    :D

But bear hunts are probably even better.    :bigsmyl:

I guess hunting Beer is good if you are hunting in the right spot.

I guess this is true for whatever you hunt even Bear.

Good luck, it sounds like a well deserved trip...

The thread title DRAFTed me in.  What a freudian slip.  I think there will be a lot beer hunting this weekend as the weather gets warm and the fish and turkeys are active.  I tend to see a lot of shot beer cans in the public woods.  Must be a fenced, guided, and fun time as you "head for the mountains" to see if they "turn blue".

I may not be a bear hunter, but I can hold my own in any beer hunt. Sounds like a great trip, so take plenty of pictures to post.

I didn't think they made Black Label (Carlings was it?) any more. Haven't seen it here in many years. Maybe they just stopped shipping to the US.
