The Z4 is a completely new recurve limb from the Zipper shop. I know the prototypes started getting shot right around the 1st of the year.

That is truly unique, although lately I have been shooting ILF and metal risers. Could you please compare it with the Centaur Triple carbon? (yes, I know one is a recurve and the other one is a longbow..) . If you could put them through the chrony that would be even better..

If Bill is listening? How is this new design built w/ wood and glass, instead of the carbon?

enjoy that new bow

Stephen, The Z4 can not be built with just glass and boo. The glass and boo would not be able to stabilize this design. There is too much preload and too much curve in the tip. It has to have this type of carbon in the limb. With this particular carbon on the back and belly of the Z4 limb it makes this design the most stable of all of our recurve limb designs.

Thanks Bill,
And thanks for building the riser for me. I know it was a bit out of your comfort to do but I'm very pleased and it's become my favorite. I still plan to send it back for a set of wimpy 50/55lbs limbs to match.
Say hello to Tracy.

Love the wood combo.  Macasser is a favorite of mine.
