Javaman Falcon XL
« on: May 03, 2015, 05:22:00 AM »
A few weeks ago I asked Gregg is it possible to build me a longer version of the Elkheart or Falcon. I was thinking of a 64-66" bow length for my 3D tournaments.
Without batting an eyelid Gregg answered "no problem". The whole  process was a pleasure. That bow build was a true "custom made".
After a very short time we have had the decision and it came out the

FALCON XL 2 pc. 64" 48#@30".
Woven carbon on the back of the limbs and  Myrtle veneers on the belly of the limbs with foam core.
Black micarta I beam with Ziricote scale,  black horn on the back of the riser and on the tips.
black leather wrap.

Gregg hit exactly 100% my taste. The workmanship, fit and finish is incredible. Absolutely TOP!!!!

I received 7 days ago the bow. After the first euphoric settled down and I shooting it a couple of weeks , I will give a more detailed report about the performance.
What I can say at the moment  is,  the bow is very  very quit, no noticeable hand shock !!!! and it seems to be very fast.......to be continued.

Im very happy with it!!
Thanks Gregg for the excellent customer service.

Now some pictures...

WOW! !!  I went with a Elkheart due to longer working limbs than Falcon but you may have best of both worlds with more  riser mass and longer limbs.  Would love to here a full review and its fps.  I did not know he would build them that long.  Gregg, I may be calling...   :archer:    Very Nice!

Hubert stated about asking for the bow a "few weeks ago".  He ordered the bow almost a year ago, and we finalized the model and length several weeks ago.

Glad you like it Hubert.
