Always nice when the post gal shows up at my front door with long skinny packages, and this was no exception. Inside was an all yew Morning Star, 55@28. Didn't take me long to string it up, tie on a nock, and head to the hills. I think I will keep it.
Shooting stars are some of the first flowers to poke out in the spring around here, and I believe that I will be calling this bow the Shooting Star. It certainly does shoot.
I love how yew looks, and this bow is so quiet that it won't need string silencers.
James promised that he would include his new laser sight, but it seems to be off a bit. However, this dandelion was shot at from a 30 pace uphill, so it is pretty close. Just a bit more tweaking and it should be dead on.
Once again, OE has built a bow that is good on the eye and shoots like crazy. I hope to spend lots of quality time with it in the future.
