My new bow is finished!! Thanks to Wingnut and Jason I have my new dow, a Dryad 55# at 28" hunter. I have been wanting to make a bow for awhile now but Iam not what you would call smart at all when it comes to anything to do with wood. So Wingnut and Jason took me under their wing and helped/taught and showed me how to do it. I have to say that it is ALOT of fun and really cool to see a blank turn into a straight shooting piece of art! If any of yall have been thinking about doing this all I can say is DO IT!!!

Heck man it was fun for us too. Except the part watching you work a scraper.
LOL
Your blank turned out perfect and didn't take long at all to complete. You did a lot more of the work then you think. We spent maybe two hours of instruction time. And of course Jason was finishing bows anyway so spraying yours was a snap.
Now we got to get JP over here to finish his.
