So she wasn't just a dreary ole bow, I thought I'd give her a bit of a face lift.   :D

Thanks everyone! Those are the ASAT pattern from Limbsations. Just got tired of looking at plain black limbs.

Bisch: I just picked this thing up for a cheap back yard shooter. Been wanting to see if they were as good as everyone was saying.

Surprisingly it is a very well mannered bow for the price tag! Blocky riser but I really like the grip. I decided to shoot it off a rest and my CE 2040's w/vanes fly great. The bow is 40# @ 28".

That seems to be the concensus on those bows. Not very pretty, but well worth the little bit of money you have to shell out for it!

You did good on the limbs! Makes it look a lot better!

I thought so too. Highly recommend it for anyone not wanting to spend a fortune on a custom. My 14yr old is liking it and it may end up with him.

Also, I did find that the bow really responded better for me with the bow quiver off. This group was approx. 15yds.

Wow! I have a sage too and you have inspired me. I guess instead of getting work done I will be contemplating what patterns I want to use.

I have a Journey (64" version of the Sage) and it really surprised me.  Putting a good string on it vs. the ski rope that comes with it made a huge difference.  I'm pulling 52@31 on  mine and it really likes 20 strands of BCY-X.

Won a novelty shoot in KY with it last year--turkey at approx. 70 yds, deer at approx. 100.  A hit got you one ticket, a hit in the kill got you 3 tickets, at the end they drew tickets to see who won the target.  I won them both...not going to say a little (lot) luck wasn't involved, but the bow shot really well.

LBR, the first thing I did was put on one of Allen's tenringstrings. I didn't even bother with the one sent with the bow. Just tossed it in the trash. I've heard folks talk about vibration in the limbs but, don't have that with this particular bow. I put Bow Jax on the string and that was all. Very quiet!

I have a tiny set of cat whiskers on mine.  Very quiet.
