What is a man to do? New Bow Purchased.PICS
« on: October 08, 2007, 07:47:00 PM »
Well, I have owned a couple of Morrisons in the past,Custom made Cougar and I had one custom made for my dear friend Thunder a few years ago. Have always wanted to try one of his curves so he had a riser and set of limbs in stock that I fell in love with so I bought it. Should have it in a couple of weeks. Macasser ebony A riser with three stripes,B limbs with mun ebony facing and backing with Texas King snake on the back and kudu tips. 60#@27" so will be 63# at my draw. Will make a 56" bow so now I have a great bow for my double bull matrix. Look out pigs and sambar! Plus gonna take it to Texas with me next month.Don't worry I will post pics when it gets here,LOL

I hope you are still doing this when you are older and weaker. These are all too heavy for me to consider when you trade them off.  :wavey:

Don't worry Danny, I've got cure. Chop your hand off just above the wrist. You'll loose a small amount of weight and you won't need to spend any more money on bows.  :goldtooth:   I do understand the addiction even though you have more severe case than me.  :biglaugh:

ROTHLMFAO,

You guys and gals kill me. I know, I know I have a sickness but Curtis, not gonna take your suggestion, ouch I need both hands, too many bows to shoot. I am almost cured though paying for two more bows and I will be done, yeah right.

Here is a pic of the limbs.

This riser is similar to this but instead of the flare will have three stripes.

Just a teaser till the bow gets here.

LOL Frank, I must have got ya excited. Curves are not bad. I used to be strickly longbow when I shot the heavy bows but now shoot a curve much better, but always gotta have a longbow in the rack.

HAH!  I was just looking at those pics on the Morrison website!  Some of the most beautiful things to come out of Bob's shop...  Thanks for removing the temptation.  And when you're thinking about selling them, would you please give me a heads-up?    :wavey:
