My new Timberhawk. WOW!
« on: May 24, 2015, 10:09:00 AM »
Got my Timberhawk a couple weeks ago and I took some pics. After owning 25 custom recurves since 96 I have gone back to my all time favorite. Timberhawk. Smooth, forgiving, hard hitting, and sooo beautiful! 60" 54lbs @ 28
E-Grade cocobolo with a Black and swirly brown cocobolo flare. Yew limbs (of course! Anyone that knows me, I'm a sucker for yew)
Pics were taken on an overcast day.

Looks great. Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but what is e-grade cocobolo?  It has nice figure for sure though.

Beautiful bow! I find overcast days to be the best for pictures (no harsh glare or confusing shadows)
          Congratulations on the new bow!
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm

Timberhawks are perhaps the finest recurves being made. Great Plains comes in close, but not quite up to the consistency of the THs. Scott is definitely under-rated and makes exceptional, accurate and smooooth bows.

-3 GP Swift T/Ds, LH & RH; GP Long Curve RH
-3 Dave Miller longbows LH, RH
-3 Rempp selfbows
