Blood trail compilation PICTURE thread

Please post pics of blood trails and include ONLY the following details:

1. What animal was it?
2. Name and type of head?
3. How many blades (2 with bleeder, 2 only, 3 blade, etc.)?
4. Shooting from ground or tree stand?
5. 2 holes or 1 (pass through)?
6. How long was the blood trail before animal died?
7. Where was the animal hit? (vitals or other)

PLEASE LET THE PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! JUST BROADHEAD INFORMATION AND PICS.

I have never taken a picture of blood trails....bummer!
So, I'll just add a starter pic and let everyone else follow:

2. Simmons Treeshark ~260 gr
3.  2 blade
4.  20 ft lean too stand
5. 2 holes ( shish-k-bob)
6. 70 Yds.. Heard her hit tree and fall but didn't see her fall
7. Steep Quartering away  at 10 Yds.. Entered last rib on her left and exited between legs

Great Idea, I just wish people would take pictures of Bad blood trails so we would have more of a  comparison.

Could definitely be a  useful tool.

Also, something I just thought of, it doesn't worry me too much if I don't get pictures of poor blood trails.

What makes you want to take a picture? Something that is usually incredible or awesome. So if I only get pictures of really good blood trails, that might speak volumes about the broadhead types that are creating these blood trails.

Not really just the shorter arrow, Never left a single droplet.

Hit the deer high and a bit back broadside.
Tree stand
17 yard shot
bow 49lbs at 28
Stos 2 Blade
1 hole


This was the deer on approach

Great thread! I don't take many photos of blood trails. Might have to change that. All this blood on the ground is really making me want to go shoot something. I still have an unfilled turkey tag and one more weekend to give it a go!
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.
