I just got home from Quebec and found this guy on my camera over a bait. The wolves are always present with fresh tracks every day and howling at night but you rarely get a glimpse of any. This wolf appears almost as a ghost (maybe that's why they are hard to see)

I am relagated to hunting public land near my home.  I have been succesful on one piece and not so much on another.  I decided this year to scout, scout and scout some more.  I even got bold and bought/hung a trail cam.  This stuff is fun!  And, the best part, I found some!

Found this small girl and few older ones:
 
 

And I think this may be a young buck, just need to find his big brother:

I love the photo of the elk in the water.

Kenny, that one buck will have a unique rack, I will be curious to see how it Grows. Definitely has good Mass already.
