Bait trip # 2 is this Wed-Sunday Bill Terry from Ct. will be heading up with me.BUGS were waiting for myself and close friend Brian Vincent this past week on 1st bait trip,USUALLY there are NO bugs on 1st bait trip :-) So by end of next week they should be in full force,THATS GOOD the more bugs and hotter it is the Bear's seem to like it.I did read years ago that the HOT weather amped up Bear's to feed.

Tommy, good luck to you and your 'crew'.  We are all aware of the time and effort you put in to make the "Bear Quest" hunts one of the best out there. The added pleasure of having the 'little guy from Seattle' in camp is second to none.
My hat is off to you.

Two is One and One is None.  Always have a backup.

You guys have fun and be safe.  Almost made it to BQ9 and already planning for BQ10.

You won't regret that decision. If the bugs were really thick I wound up running both at the same time. One hanging in the tree directly behind me, head high and one on the platform of the treestand tucked under the seat. Be careful with the Watkins bug dope, good stuff but it'll melt a raincoat and take the finish off your bow if you're not careful.
