I just finished test driving a 64" Wolverine static and liked the bow so much I opted to keep it.  The grip shape is hard to beat and the static limbs are smoooooth, quick and above all quiet!  South's build quality is very nice and I really like his matte finish.

I spoke to South last year at Denton Hill.  Really nice guy and his bows were beautiful.  I am sure you will be happy.

Just put stalker in the search bar and you'll see a bunch of posts just like yours with some seriously gorgeous bows.

I'm going to be ordering a custom bow from him sometime in the future, and if I had to pick right now I'd be ordering a 54" Coyote Static with the 13" riser. His bows seriously are fantastic.

I plan on doing a review once I spend some more time with the bow, but here are some pics I took indoors.  Hard to see in this lighting but the glass is actually chocolate brown.  Brown actionwood with Zebrawood accents:

Just ordered a Coyote Longbow yesterday. I saw his bows a couple years ago at Kalamazoo and they were beautiful. Go to South's Facebook page and you'll find lots of pictures. The only problem is that they all look so good deciding on what woods to use. I opted for Cocobolo and Bocote, can't go wrong with any of them IMO. You may want to consider one of the Kanati Bow Quivers custom stamped with the Stalker Logo to compliment it also.

I had a Stalker Coyote longbow and it was awesome wish I still had it. The grip on mine was a medium wrist and by far the best grip I have ever felt on a bow. I would like to get another someday but like you I would get the static limbs on my next one.
Send me your email or phone number and I will send you pics.

South has some beautiful woods and makes some really fine bows. My XT Wolverine is stunning made of Gabon and B&W Ebony.

Wolverine is a fitting name for Felix' bow. My favorite is the Scheyler Wolverine.

The Schleyer FXT Wolverine used to be my favorite, but I've seen some other bows South has done lately that make me reconsider.

Felix' for one.   :D

Just out of interest any reason you are getting rid of the Covert Hunter? It is one I have on my short list along with Stalker and Tall Tines.
