First Two Piece Bow -- Thank you Big Jim
« on: June 03, 2015, 08:44:00 AM »
Tried my hand at a takedown. Followed Big Jim's video instruction. I learned a heck of a lot and the instructions of Big Jim is so good I got it the first time. Still some finishing to be done but it worked spot on!!! Must say cutting it in two is somewhat of a nervous experience!   :biglaugh:

Bow is 42#@28", 58" tip to tip. Pau ferro and african rosewood handle

Thank you Big Jim for an excellent video.

Good work on that one! The wood combo looks good and I really like that limb profile!
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

So... Does this mean that Big Jim was a midwife to you birthing a cousin to his Thunderchild?

Well, however it all came about, that's a good looking bow!
