Howard Hill Shoot
« on: June 14, 2015, 11:33:00 PM »
How many of you guys made it to the shoot?

This was my first time to ever go to a larger shoot with vendors, etc.  I had a blast, just too much stuff to buy and not enough $$$! lol.

Here is a link to the scores every posted.  I was very impressed with Sam Sandifer, the guy could flat out shoot!!!

I was not able to make it this year. I usually ride down with a couple of guys from North Alabama. I was really wanting to shoot my new Elk heart LB

Sam is a dang good shot--so is his daughter, Samantha.  Think she's going to college on an archery scholarship...there are some good things about shooting in tournaments.

This was my 9th trip to the shoot. I always have a great time and usually wind up spending too much money. Terry and his crew provide a really nice event. Seeing the name Sam Sandifer at the top of the score sheet is certainly no surprise. He is a fantastic shooter. There is always a lot of talent at Tannehill.

For you guys up north and west of us, this event is well worth the ride. You will have fun.
Sam

I wasn't able to make it this year.  Congratulations to Rusty Horn for winning the impressive One Shot/One Kill trophy.

Rusty can just flat out shoot.  He is fun to be around too.

I did put it on him in longbow though!  You better watch out shooting with him.  He will try to get in your head!  ;)

You let Rusty get in your head? Mission accomplished!

I'm hoping I can make this one next year!

Congrats to all the winners!

Congrats to all. Sounds like a great shoot.

Daniel, if you put it on Rusty, you can flat out shoot too!

Did not make it due to wedding festivities. Should be at the ASTB State shoot (used to be held at Tannehill but now @ Brierfield I believe) beginning of August.

My wife and I hope to make Briarfield, but it will probably be the fall shoot.  Too dang hot in August!
