Cari-bow Silverfox

Finally the finishing touches are now complete.
A while ago I had Abe make me the bow of my dreams and as always he came thru in spades. It turned out surpassing all my expectations. The combination of woods complemented each other beautifully in my eyes. The subtle overlapping grain of the ziricote contrasted well with the electrifying streaks of the Marblewood. But...
looking at the complete bow from a distance the was one spot on the upper end of the riser seemed a bit bland in the grain pattern, almost begging for some addition to it. That's when it hit me. I new exactly what it needed and who could do it.
My daughter is a extremely talented artist. I knew she could come up with something to add to my special bow. After much pleading and bugging it finally got done. Well I think she nailed it. Hope you think so also. Enjoy the pics.

Very nice looking. I like how Abe tapers his limb tips into the limbs and not just throw on a glob of Antler like some do. To me it looks a lot more professional.

You guys are 100% right . Abe's antler work is top shelf.
Here's a few more shots of the riser before my daughter did her magic.
If you happen to see this Abe
Thanks a million.

Beautiful! Caribows made my short list of bows the other day, shot a recurve of his, almost dead quiet with no string silencers and too light of arrow! Amazing to say the least!

My Goodness, that is absolutely one of the most beautiful bows I have ever seen.
A long time ago, when I first seen one of these bows, I put it on my list of bows that I have to get before I die.
By the looks of it, it might take me that long to save up enough to get it!!
CONGRATS on your work of art.
Thanks for showing it too.

Lord there are a lot of talented bowyers out there. I have no idea what it would cost if I bought a bow every time I see a post that makes me say dang I'd love to own that bow.
