Tuning help for carbon request. Please.

I am using a Sovereign archery Trident static tip bow, 60 in, about 58 lbs at 27 1/4 in draw. The bow is only 1 1/4 in wide at the shelf and cut to center.
I am using GT 55/75 with 250 gr target point, 100 gr brass insert, 2 in aluminum footer. My arrow is down to 27 1/4 in from BOP to valley of nock so I can't cut it any more.
I started full length and have been cutting down. Still nock left on paper tuning. I tried a 175 gr point and get a nice hole. I want to get an arrow about 625-650 grains so need the 250 gr point to get that.
Could I try a 3-4 in external aluminum footer? Or try GT 75/95? I really want to make GT work as I have all the components for this shaft.
Or try Heritage CE or Byron Ferguson heavy hunters or other?

All you need to do is shim out your strike plate bro... that will get her... If you do go to 7595 shafts they will be longer and slightly heavier. Some guys prefer the longer shafts for a closer point on gap...
BTW....That is a hot bow you have there... Sovereign made some seriously fast static tip bows.

You may be getting a false stiff reading? The arrow may be bouncing off the riser instead of flexing around it.Try a lighter point like around 125 gr. and see how it reacts? They may be too short now.I had bought some used carbons that were already cut to length and showing stiff nock left. They got worse the more weight I added, they wouldn't tune no matter how much weight I added.Carbons recover much quicker then wood or aluminum.I did tune the same spine to that bow but started with a full length, trimmed and tuned and they ended up about 2" longer. This can happen some times with that much weight upfront on a trad bow with carbon arrows?I find the closer the point weight is to the bows riser and your still showing stiff it's already too short. And there is no amount of weight that will help.Sometimes you just have to stop and start over?I like to start out with less weight upfront and slowly add weight and see how it affects the tune? You might need to start with a stiffer spine and tune or an arrow the has a higher GPI?

I believe he said he is getting a weak indication.
I'm not too surprised. When I started building an ultra FOC arrow for my 43 # bow, I got around 350 total up front on a 5575, so you may want to try a 7595 at 58#. I would definitely start full length and cut very slowly, though. My 5575s stiffened up rather sharply and I had to shave just 1/8" off the length on the final cut.
Or, like Kirk suggested, build your strike plate out a bit for the 5575s.
