I use a coleman sportcat heater. Small but gives off a good amount of heat. Didn't use much propane either.

My brother has had good success with the Lil Buddy heater in his pop-up blind

I also use the Lil Buddy heater when turkey hunting on those cold mornings. Uses the little propane bottles. Get yourself the extra fitting and you can refill the bottles from your camper (20# or 30#) propane bottle. It will save you a lot of $$$$. You have to fill the bottle with the main tank upside down. Take some needle nose pliers and release some of the vapor and fill some more, until bottle is about 80% full.

The buddy heater is by far the best solution I have ever found and like already said if it's one that's gonna be there a while a 20 lb bottle will last a long time I hate being cold

What acolo said except put small bottles in freezer overnight large bottle in warm place it will fill them faster and get more gas in small bottle.
