Thinking of maybe ordering one. Anyone shoots that particular bow model? Care to post pics or comments? Please don't candy coat it if it doesn't shoot good for ya. Thanks

You can't go wrong with any of Steve's designs. I own 2 of them and they both are excellent shooters and beautiful craftsmanship too...

Thanks Kirk. I ordered yesterday a Stormeagle. Is that what the model is in the 2 bows pictured above? Also I was in the phone with Steve yesterday and when the question of speed came up with the bows he mentioned your bows as top performers. Do you find any difference between the carbon and wood at these two bows above?

Steve is not only a wonderful bowyer, but a good friend of mine. We have helped each other over the years while developing our bow designs. The Storm Eagle is a slightly different limb design from the one i have, but it's an updated model and very nice shooting bow.... I've tested the Storm Eagle in my shop side by side with my Tallon II, & my Sasquatch SS recurve and they are very close in performance.

Talk to Steve about the difference between Carbon limbs and glass limbs and he'll tell you exactly how much difference their is.... My designs are a wee bit different, so i cannot help you on that question...... He's a good friend and a great craftsman.... You'll be very happy with one of his bows... I am...

This bow is built with the koa that I am using for Chris's new bow. It will be a top mount Storm Eagle. One of the neatest things is that Chris wants hand carved antler knobs with a boars head. This is what I call a fun bow to build.
God bless, Steve
