1000th Post Collage-My Traditional Journey
« on: June 29, 2015, 12:47:00 PM »
So I hit 1000 posts, I thought I would just put up a short recap of my trad experience shown in pics. Almost everything I know about Traditional archery has came from Tradgang. I really appreciate the tips, help, and gifts from my fellow stick slingers. Included are the highlight pics over the past years, with a caption as well.

Here is my first traditional kill. Meant the world to me, taken with a #45 Samick Deermaster.

Took out this bumble bee in the air, (notice the vanes, didn't know much     :readit:

Here we are again with my first Trad buck. Taken with a Bear Stag Hunter.

Here is a very special deer to me, taken the day of the funeral of a man that was the only grandpa I ever knew, Clemmon.

Here is some summer fun chasing bullfrogs on a farm pond

Here is a buck I took with a PSE recurve about 3 years ago

Tradgang quickly made me love pretty arras   :saywhat:

My first pig after several tries. Taken in north FLA, with a then "prototype" Omega Native.

Just a cool picture waiting on a tom a couple of years ago, wood arra made by a tradganger

Close up of a dowell arra I made, I later took a doe with.

Got my buddy Ethan (hensone) into this addictive stuff too, here is his first deer with a stickbow, that's my Omega Native he was shooting, gave it to him and it is his go to hunting rig.

Ethan has quickly gotten to be a killer with a stickbow and of course that lead to more blood on the ground

Having buddies to enjoy it with makes it so much better.

Ive come to like zwickey broadheads, they are cheap and work well. A great combination for someone who slings a lot of pointy sticks.

Tradgang introduced me to the joys of pig hunting, and now I go at least 2-3 times a spring. Special thanks to tarponnut, (Jim Dussias) as he got me started pig hunting, and is becoming a good friend as well as hunting buddy.

So thanks to you all, you turned something like traditional archery from something that was a challenge, into a way of life. Thanks to all my friends I have met on here, and all the kind gestures and tips you have given me. I hope I can just pass it on like you guys did. Good shooting and God bless you all
