Montana is a good bow!  I put fakeskins on mine too. The leather grip wrap had to go though. I did not like that at all.

First blood with my Montana.

That baby looks great, the cloth skins look better than the tape skins for sure. When I got my Montana a few years back I put a ****** string on that rascal and it performed as well as any one piece that I have shot.

Great bow.....but I'm a "working man" and have several customs....don't understand the term "working man".  Sometimes I work so much i don't have time to go hunting. ...does that count as a working man ?

The Grizzly got the nickname "the working man's bow" back in the day. So the point of the thread is is the Montana the longbow equivalent of the Grizzly

The joyous mystery of the traditional way is not a respecter of any particular bow.

Finding and securing such fulfillment is the pinnacle of reward.

I would be very interested in a bow that was bomb proof...every bow that I have right now would be in pieces after being hit by a bomb

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
