This is a great thread.I had just talked to Bob Larson on Monday and he was telling me about Luke's pig.If I remember right,I think it's actually his first that was taken,on his own.

Those guys were out here last Summer and we spent an afternoon running trail cameras.Luke is an extraordinary young guy,well mannered,hard working and smart.He's one of those rare young individuals that walks up to you,looks you in the eye and shakes your hand(11 years old then).He even taught me some things about using my camera.

I'm hoping we get to do that again sometime.

A bit of detail that should be of interest to most; South Cox custom made the 3 pc longbow Luke used on his hunt. Glory Hogs 2 was filmed on this property and is available on the Stalker website.

Man that is a gnarly old sow ain't it?

That's just the kind of hog I would love to kill.  I'm gonna start chasing them in Sam Houston National Forest in a month or so.  Don't know a thing about the place.  Should be fun.

That is an AWESOME story and an even better young man.  Heck I'd like to meet that boy and spend some time shooting some arrows with him.  I guarantee you he could teach me a thing or 2.

Luke is an impressive young man, and even at 12 years old I would be perfectly happy to have him guide me on an archery hunt-he is that good.   :thumbsup:    :thumbsup:
