Another Tip In the stable
« on: July 10, 2015, 03:54:00 PM »
Was home sick today when the mailman dropped this new to me Silver Tip off! A 62" 52# @ 28" Silver Tip. Walnut action wood (looks like aged osage) with WWII camo limbs.  I immediately assembled it and ran to the back yard range. Wow!!! Dave put together another gem. It is super smooth, quiet and accurate. Another good friend I believe. Think Im gonna name it "Apple Pie". Its sweet and all American, colored like apple pie too. Whatcha think

And the doctor said "Take one of these and don't bother to call me in the morning".  Good medicine.

Be sure to throw that sucker in the truck this fall.  My new bow showed today too.  I just wish it would quit pouring rain so I could give it a full workout.

Hope you feel better Izzy.  I'm covered up in it right now also. The darn dogs bring it in.

I saw that bow pop up and thought if I ever owned a  Tip, I would want it to look like that one with those specs.

Looks awesome Buddy!  Enjoy your new bow and good luck with the poison ivy.  I'm guessing it's a little more than "just a bit" of poison ivy!

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

You've seen mine now lets see that Tolke of yours. You will see it in November, preferably layed across a booners ribs for a trophy pic.   :readit:

Beautiful!  I see all these new bow threads, and I get a little envious!  I got the ok from the good wife to order a new one as a grad present as soon as I finish my master's!

She's a beauty! I have one due in a couple weeks specked close to yours but in a 60" I wanted the camo you have for my limbs but had to settle for green woodland. Beth said they were all out of the brown.    :banghead:
