My new longbow
« on: July 12, 2015, 07:45:00 PM »
I picked up my new bow from Mike Treadway back in April at the Kentucky tradfest. It is a 3 piece takedown 46#@28" and 60" long. Chechen and coco bolo with quilted maple limbs on front with arrow inlays and antler tips with the shiniest finish you ever saw on a bow. Other than shooting as smooth as any bow I ever had in my hand with no hand shock at all,it is a real beauty.

Great looking bow. I've got one of Mike's bows, 54" one piece longbow. Mike is one of the nicest guys you'll ever deal with. I really need to get to some shoots down in NC where Mike will show up. It's been too many years since I've talked to him.
Keep em Sharp!

A beauty!! Enjoy!!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

When did Mike start making a 3-piece T/D?  That's one beautiful bow!

Really nice. I was there admiring his bows but don't remember seeing that one. He sure had some nice one piece bows!

I special ordered it last year at the Kentucky tradfest. He had one he had made for himself and I had to have one.
