It is for stretching and increased range of motion.  My surgeon is also a friend...so I'm sure I can get a medical excuse for it!  At least I can tell my wife that  :)

Can't pull a bow yet but was able to get into my forge.  Start of Toelke Pika matching Tippit knife.  Dan sent me some riser wood and a few strips of black glass.  Knife...OAL of 9 inches, blade 4 1/2 of inches forged from 52100 steel.

With a family reunion and a 5 day Mustang (horse)
training clinic coming up, I'll probably be a little slow getting the knife finished...tippit

Oh man. Nice bow. And I know that blade won't be too shabby either! Looking forward to seeing the finished combo..
Hope you have a speedy and successful recovery!

Good luck with the recovery.  The project and therapy bow should help!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Jeff, The Bow is stunning and I think the knife will be as well.

Good luck on your recovery...

If you have never seen the Mustang training, it's absolutely incredible how quickly some trainers can earn the trust of the horse, then be able to work with it.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Charlie,
I'll be working with 25 different mustangs.  My instructor was one of the Extreme Mustang Makeover trainers in the film "Wild Horse Wild Ride".  August 7-8 is an Extreme Mustang Makeover event in MA.  I'm planning on bringing one home for me!
