Astro String Material Question
« on: July 28, 2015, 02:36:00 PM »
I have used ten strands of DF-97 with padded loops for some time now. I need to order more string material and was considering using Astro as Binghams Projects stocks it. The diameter of Astro is listed as .015 how many strands would it take to be the same diameter as 10 strands of DF-97? I use .025 serving material.

I don't have a clue--BCY uses denier as a measurement (because the strands aren't round, you can't get a true diameter measurement).  If you like Dynaflight '97, I can help you out there with some great prices.

Jess, I been shooting 12 strands of Astro flight, which seems to be about the same as my Dynaflight 12 strand strings. I also serve with #4 nylon

But if you like your D97, I would give Chad a holler!
