Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Here are some...

I have some of minus 25 plus but I don't want to think about that yet.  when you have over 8 months of winter you enjoy not having snow.

I want to hunt where there is snow some day!

I knew the answer, all but the characters actual name, but was too slow on the keyboard!

I hope Dave Sisamis doesn't mind.  I will post pics of the spotted hog that he shot on the same trip.

Another hog shot on the trip, by Bryan Bolding.

Mike Gerardi killed some critters in the snow, too.  But I can't find his pics.

I'll play.  This is my deer from last year.  Single digit temps with negative wind chill and fresh snow on the ground in Braxton County, WV.  Not a ton of snow - because it was too darned cold to snow!!!!

Well Terry,

It sure is hot here in southern MS too, but I couldn't find one picture of me hunting in the snow (dosn't happen to often here). And when I lived in Arkansas I didn't take pictures that were digital, way before cell phones with cameras

Does it count if I say it was cold for Mississippi!

Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

The only deer I ever killed in the snow in my 39 years of bowhunting.

Great pictures!!  I am really missing my winter hunts right now!
This picture is really just fall, but I love the contrasting colors.

It will be here soon enough.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Got a 200 and 100 acre family farm...  ;)
