My new Macassar and B&W Ebony recurve.
« on: July 31, 2015, 02:53:00 PM »
It has been awhile since I ordered a new custom bow. Since I am now 70 and have plenty of bows to shoot it doesn't make a lot of practical sense to spend the money for a new one. I tossed the idea around for about a year and a half and finally decided to do something not practical and sprung for a new one. To be honest I had a hard time deciding which bowyer I would go with. There are so many good ones these days. Black Widow won out because I have never shot a bad one and they are so solid and their wait time isn't forever. At 70 I can't wait forever. It is a 60" SAXS with spliced limbs, 49#@28". As I said there are many other excellent bowyers and you guys know who they are. Anyway I thought I would share a few photos.
