Does anyone still camo dip?
« on: August 02, 2015, 10:30:00 PM »
Do any of the sponsors here still do camo dipping?  I'd like to see some other options for camo'ing a bow.  One of my bows has an extreme gloss finish on it.  I have limb skins on it now, but the riser is high gloss too.

I'm considering having it dipped, but would love to see other ideas too.

If you like the wood underneath try lightly rubbing it with a fine white scotchbrite pad to dull the finish.

For what it's worth though, I've always thought it would be fun to get an old ugly bow that shoots exceptionally well at a garage sell or what not and send it for a camo dip in something that looks like oak bark.  That seams like it would make an awesome hunting rig.
