Been taking four and will again this year, but will be including an extra rubber blunt tipped arrow using one of those piggy-back connectors. We have a bear problem here in NJ and I'm tired of having my sits ruined when one of the bruins shows up (which occurred 25 times last year). Have heard that a Judo point can/will penetrate the hide so don't want that to happen. Just want to give the offender something to think about before showing up in that area again.

Usually I have 4.. I'd rather have too many than not enough. I remember the days I would carry 2 because thats all I had lol.

3-4 usually....primarily use a 18 year old Lakota style quiver I bought from guy in back of magazine. Also use limited GN Quiver and usually carry 4 arrows and one Judo tipped in it. Have a Steve Catts side quiver on order that will allow more but will likely still only carry 3-4 arrows as got it more to allow 3 blade head carry that my Lakota does not.
I figure one shot...after one miss...with one as extra is enough. LOL

I carried 4 broadheads with me last deer season and will probably do the same this year. However I'm headed to WY in a few weeks and am making some more just to have 'em. If I do my part I'll only need to one, right?!
I typically use a bowquiver that holds 4. I have been shooting all summer without it though. I believe I may carry 6-8 with me in my Safari Tuff quiver this year.

I always carry 5 broadheads. I'll inavertentyly nock at least 1 off the string and drop it. Then if I shoot at a squirrel I'm down to 3. 3 is a reasonable number. Then when I miss a deer I only have 2. If I started out with 2 I'd never have a chance.
