Carbon arrow suggestion for Toelke SS 51#@28''
« on: August 12, 2015, 10:31:00 AM »
Hey gang!
Sorry for another one of 'those threads' but Im unsure of arrow selection.   :deadhorse:
I draw 28 on the nose, shoot three under. Have used GT trads in the past but am open to trying new things.
Would like something in the 10gpp area.
Need a ballpark, as my release is not yet good enough to accurately trust my bareshafting.
I can send just about any arrow for a right curveball when I bugger the release.

Thanks for your time.

I say something in the 400 spine, depending on point weight and center cut of bow

Agree with the 400 spine.    I shoot GT 55/75 out of a Whip that's 52# at 28" and was able to tune them great.

You could do a 29" GT Trad 3555 with standard insert and 150 up front

Or a 29.5" GT Trad 5575 with standard insert and 225 up front

Those have both worked for me woth my Toelke Whips. I shoot 3 under and 50@28 drawing 28

.400 will work fine, it'll shoot a little harder then a whip.
