Elk success thread
« on: August 19, 2015, 09:51:00 PM »
With elk season bearing down how about some success photos?  Remember success isn't always measured by a kill so post whatever will get us fired up for the western mountains.

Cheers.

Yep I'm headed out tomorrow.  Weather is looking pretty decent but I'm sure the bugs will be horrendous.  Oh well it's still elk hunting.  Good luck Tim and others...

Dan, that pic of the blood splatter is the bees knees! I got that feeling you get when you know that all your hard work just paid off! Purely awesome!

CAMO! WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN" CAMO!
We were packing my bull out when we came upon this spike, no, he didn't shoot. (it's a lot closer than it appears)

These pictures have got me fired up! I'll be loading the horses and mules on the 19th of September to hunt the last week with my dad, brother and son. We always have a great time!

maybe some day
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7

"There is a way which seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death."  Proverbs 14:12
